Eric Pinkston is the Clinical Director at Crestview Recovery, where he leads the clinical program and the team of counselors and clinicians who work with clients every day. He holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor III (CADC III), the highest tier of addiction counselor certification in Oregon, and a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-C).

Eric has worked in addiction treatment since 2014, moving through roles as a primary counselor, group facilitator, and residential supervisor before stepping into clinical leadership as Clinical Director in 2024. That path shapes how he leads: he still values welcoming clients during intake, and he measures the program’s success through the growth of his counselors and the long-term recovery of the people they serve.

His clinical approach draws on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic processing, delivered in a small, person-centered setting. Eric sees effective treatment as a careful balance of compassion, empathy, accountability, and clear boundaries, and believes meeting people where they are matters as much as any single technique.
